About me...

I am a writer based out of Spokane, Washington. Driven by a fascination with the philosophical and a love for mythical and the mystic, I have continually found myself buried in fantasy novels.

I write mostly about things that strike me as interesting. At first, when I was young, I made up stories to amuse myself on long summer days. These days were often spent in the woods, the fort in the back yard, or swinging on ropes in the barn. As a teen, I wrote stories to impress the girl that I liked. I never showed them to her, though. It felt too personal. The stakes felt too high. When I finally liked a girl enough to overcome that feeling and actually show her the story, she married me.

All my life, I have looked up to my brothers. They made up stories, and so I wanted to make up stories. When I found out they were writing them down in notebooks, I tried it. It was so much harder than just holding the story in your head. It had to be so much more real that way.

Everything you find on this site is something that I poured my heart into. I hope that you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them.
